Prepare photos, videos and documents for copying to another phone
Files To Other Devices copies selected files between two Android devices. Install it on both phones, connect them to the same Wi-Fi network, and check that the network permits phone-to-phone communication before selecting files.
Photos
Choose a small group of photos for a first test. After copying, open several images on the receiving phone and check that the number of received files matches the selection. Keep the originals until you have checked the result.
Videos
Look at the size of the videos and the free space on the receiving phone. Send one large video first and wait until the app reports completion. Open or play the received file before continuing with the next batch. Transfer time depends on wireless conditions and device performance.
Documents
Before sending work or personal documents, check that you selected the intended files and recipient device. After copying, open the received PDF or document in a compatible app. Remember that a file copy does not transfer the accounts or settings of other applications.
Where did the files go?
Check the Download folder on the receiving phone or the destination folder selected in the app's settings. If the device is not visible, follow the network checklist before trying again.
